2023 Chevrolet Tahoe

The 2023 Tahoe comes in six trim levels: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. With all the trims, two thin, horizontal bars stretch across the prominent grille, and the Chevrolet symbol is in the center. You'll get 18-inch wheels, all-season tires, tinted acoustic glass, heated power side mirrors, roof rails, a large front skid plate, active grille shutters, a rear windshield wiper, automatic high beams, assist steps, and rain-sensing wipers. With the LS, LT, and RST, you can add 20- or 22-inch wheels. With the Z71 and Premier, 20-inch wheels are standard. The High Country comes with 22-inch wheels. The LT and higher trims have a hands-free power liftgate, and a panoramic power sunroof is available. Auto-dimming side mirrors are optional with the LT, RST, and Z71. They're standard with the Premier and High Country.

Every trim except the High Country comes with a 5.3-liter V-8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. With every option but the Z71, a 3.0-liter, turbo diesel V-6 engine that gives 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque is optional. With the RST and higher trims, you can choose a 6.2-liter V-8 that offers 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. These options use 10-speed automatic transmissions with tow/haul modes and overdrive capabilities.

The Chevy Tahoe has great acceleration and a smooth, comfortable ride. All trim levels include electronic stability control, maneuverable power steering, an independent suspension, traction control, an engine air filter monitor, and an external engine oil cooler. You can add an engine block heater. The Z71 comes with all-wheel drive, and it's optional with other trims. Magnetic Ride Control is available with the RST and Z71, and it's standard with higher trims. It monitors each wheel independently and makes adjustments for a smooth ride in many circumstances.

With all options, you'll get a heated steering wheel, a 12-volt power outlet, two 120-volt outlets, Bluetooth, keyless entry, six USB ports, three-zone climate control, remote start, SiriusXM satellite radio, and cruise controls on the steering wheel. A Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay are available as well. With the LT and higher trims, 10-way power driver and passenger seats, a 10.2-inch touch-screen, a 12-inch driver information center, heated front seats, and wireless charging are standard. You can add a media system for the rear seats with two 12.6-inch screens, two sets of wireless headphones, and two HDMI ports. The LT, RST, and Z71 have nine-speaker Bose audio systems, and the Premier and High Country have 10-speaker systems.

The 2023 Tahoe comes with a security system, hill start assistance, a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. You'll also get front and rear parking assistance, StabliTrak electronic stability control and traction control, and a Teen Driver system that can keep safety features on and provide report cards about the habits of drivers.
