2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD

With the 2023 Silverado 2500 HD, you can choose from five trim levels: High Country, LTZ, Custom, LT, and Work Truck (or WT). The large, rectangular grille has Chevrolet lettering across the center. There's also a hood vent, 17-inch wheels, all-season tires, and 12 cargo tie-down points. You can add 18-inch wheels, assist steps, LED lighting for the cargo bed, a spray-on bedliner, and auto-dimming trailering mirrors that are power-folding. With the LT and higher trim levels, you can choose 20-inch wheels. With the LTZ and the High Country, trailering mirrors and LED fog lights are standard. The High Country also has a power tailgate, and you can add a power sunroof.

The 6.6-liter V-8 provides 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission, and it can pull up to 17,370 pounds. A 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8 is an option at all trim levels. It offers 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque, and it comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, the Silverado 2500 HD can tow up to 18,510 pounds.

The Silverado 2500 HD has excellent acceleration and off-road performance. It comes with monitoring for the engine air filter, traction control, power steering, electronic stability control, and an indicator for brake pad wear. You'll also get an external engine oil cooler and auxiliary transmission oil cooler. With the diesel engine, you'll get an engine block heater and a diesel exhaust brake. Four-wheel drive is available with all trim levels, and it's standard with the High Country. With the WT, an integrated trailer brake controller is optional. It's standard with other trims.

The interior of the base WT comes with a 12-volt power outlet, a folding passenger seat with storage space in the armrest, a 3.5-inch driver information center, Bluetooth, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. You'll also get an outdoor temperature display and two USB ports. With the WT and the Custom, you can choose a 4.2-inch driver information center, and it's standard with other trims. With the LT and the Custom, you can add a 10-way power driver's seat with lumbar settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, and remote start. These features are standard with higher trims. With the High Country, you'll get an 8-inch driver information center, which is optional with the LTZ.

With all trims, the Teen Driver system lets you keep safety features on and get regular report cards about the driving habits of teens. With the base WT, you'll get a rearview camera with trailer hitch guidance. You can add rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, and front and rear parking assistance. With the LT and the LTZ, you can add a lane change and side blind zone alert. This is standard with the High Country.
